Position: HVAC Technician
Location: Denver, CO
We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to be a part of our maintenance team to work across our Denver portfolio. If you are a person who takes great pride in every aspect of your work, then this essential position is perfect for you.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Candidates must possess the skills and abilities to perform most of the following tasks:
- HVAC repairs
- HVAC troubleshooting
- Furnace repairs
- Furnace troubleshooting
- Hot water repairs and replacement
- Patching, Texturing, & Painting Walls
- Light Electrical (light fixtures, ceiling fans, switches, outlets, etc.)
- Light Plumbing (Toilet repairs, drain line repairs, faucet replacements and repairs, etc.)
- Minor carpentry knowledge and wood working
- Door repairs and replacement
- Minor garage repairs/adjustments
- Appliance installation
- Minor window repairs
- Minor landscaping clean-up and irrigation repairs
Candidates must also possess the following skills:
- Good verbal, written, and communication skills a must
- Good customer service skills, and experience working with tenants
- Ability to work independently, while remaining team oriented
- Flexibility to be on call and occasionally work weekends and nights if necessary
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret all forms of information
- Ability to accept and learn from constructive criticism
- Well organized, detail oriented with ability to prioritize
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Basic computer and Internet knowledge
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Qualifications:
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Must have Reliable Transportation sufficient to carry set of tools and equipment
- Must pass a background check
- Preferred one-year previous experience in community management maintenance or other building maintenance or related trade.
- Must be able to move up to 50 pounds variable distances
- Own a Basic set of hand and power tools. Performance Property Management will provide all other equipment. We can discuss upon employment.
