Learn finish carpentry and build from foundation to roof.

If you’ve already learned basic carpentry in our Bootcamp, take those skills and learn how to construct a small home in 5 weeks in our carpentry class. In this class, you will actively build a small house structure from foundation to roof.

This will include framing, drywall, siding, finish carpentry, windows, doors, and roofing.

Schedule

Daytime Carpentry
Our Carpentry Course runs five days a week, Monday through Friday, with morning and afternoon options available for 5 weeks:

  • Mornings: Monday – Friday from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Afternoons: Monday – Friday from 12:30 – 4:30 PM

Evening Carpentry
Working during the day? No problem. We offer our Carpentry course as a 6-week evening program:

  • Evenings: Monday – Thursday from 5:00 – 9:00 PM

Students are required to attend classes each week and complete online coursework outside of class hours. See dates of our upcoming classes.

Requirements

Must be a graduate of the Construction Skills Bootcamp.

Cost

Course Tuition: $1,500

Scholarships covering 95% of the full tuition cost are available if you’re committed to pursuing a new job or promotion in Denver’s construction industry. If eligible for this scholarship, students will only be required to pay a $50 nonrefundable course fee.

All students receiving a scholarship are expected to seriously pursue career options in the construction industry, including but not limited to: resume preparation, mock interviews, applying to multiple job opportunities, seeking promotion in a current position, etc. Students who are not interested in a career in construction may enroll in the Carpentry course for the full tuition cost.

For all interested students, the Carpentry course requires a refundable $50 deposit to secure your spot. 

*Partial tuition coverage is also available through our WORKNOW scholarship.
