Position: Technician I / II

Location: Aurora, CO

The Technician I / II – Trade position supports production operations by performing trade-related tasks in
alignment with safety, quality, and production standards. This role develops and applies trade skills to
support efficient production flow while maintaining high workmanship expectations.

Technician I represents an entry-level position focused on learning trade fundamentals, while Technician
II represents a fully proficient technician capable of independently performing standard trade work within
assigned scope.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Technical Execution

• Perform assigned trade tasks in accordance with drawings, work instructions, and production
  standards
• Safely operate hand tools and approved equipment
• Maintain quality standards within assigned scope
• Report defects, safety concerns, or material issues immediately

Production Support

• Support daily production targets and takt expectations
• Coordinate with team members to maintain flow
• Stage materials and prepare work areas as needed
• Maintain clean and organized work areas in alignment with 5S standards

Safety & Culture

• Follow all safety rules and PPE requirements
• Participate in training and skills development
• Demonstrate reliability through attendance, punctuality, and professionalism

Level Distinctions:

Technician I (Entry Level)

• Performs basic, repeatable tasks under direct supervision
• Follows instructions closely and seeks clarification when unsure
• Developing trade skills and understanding of drawings
• Requires frequent quality checks and feedback
• Focused on skill development and safety compliance

Experience: Entry-level; prior construction or manufacturing exposure preferred but not required

Technician II (Fully Proficient)

• Performs standard trade tasks independently with minimal supervision
• Reads and interprets basic drawings and layouts
• Owns quality of assigned work with limited rework
• Manages workload to support daily production sequencing
• Provides informal guidance to Technician I employees

Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in assigned trade tasks within production or construction
environment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Qualifications:

• Willingness to learn and grow within a skilled trade
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
• Basic understanding of tools and production processes (Tech II must demonstrate proficiency)
• Strong attendance and reliability

Physical Requirements and Demands:

• Frequent lifting of materials up to 50 lbs
• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching as required
• Operation of forklifts and material handling equipment
• Ability to work in a production environment with moderate noise levels

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation:

• $20.00 – $28.00 / hour
