Position: Skilled Craftsman
Location: Aurora, CO
Handyman Connection of South Aurora is hiring a Skilled Craftsman to take on a variety of residential and light commercial repair, maintenance, and improvement projects. This is an excellent fit for an individual who wants to grow into a multi-trade craftsman who enjoys variety in their workday and wants the flexibility to build a schedule around their life while doing skilled, hands-on work.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Complete a variety of home repair, maintenance, and improvement projects across multiple trades
- Perform carpentry, drywall, painting, minor plumbing, electrical, general repair work, and more as needed for each job
- Travel to customer homes and businesses throughout the South Aurora service area in your own work vehicle
- Use your own tools to complete each job to a professional standard
- Log job details, estimates, and updates using Handyman Connection’s in-field mobile app
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and office staff throughout each project
- Represent the Handyman Connection brand with reliability, trustworthiness, and quality craftsmanship
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Qualifications:
- Multi-trade training and an interest in learning: carpentry, drywall, painting, minor plumbing, electrical work, tile work, and general home repairs
- Dependability and strong communication skills
- Your own reliable work vehicle (truck or van) that fits your trade(s)
- Your own set of professional tools
- A smartphone with reliable internet access and comfort using an in-field mobile app daily
- A valid driver’s license
- Availability for typical hours of Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM, with flexible scheduling available based on your needs and customer needs
